Matured 12 months Jemma rice is a variety of brown rice with a higher content of fiber, minerals and vitamins than refined rice. Its dark color denotes the presence of antioxidants, in particular anthocyanin. Among the mineral salts there is a high presence of selenium, iron, zinc and magnesium, which help prevent aging and diseases while, among the vitamins, it is abundant in vitamins B1 and B2 and in vitamin PP.
